My journey with BlueHorn Tea traces back to the cherished memories of my grandmother's home in Somalia. Every morning, my siblings, relatives, and I would gather at her house, where the aroma of brewing tea filled the air. It was a time of connection, laughter, and love, all centered around a simple cup of tea.
When I moved to the US, I found myself yearning for those moments of togetherness and the comforting taste of Somali tea. Amidst the hustle and bustle of a new country, I realized that I wanted to share the beauty of my heritage with the world – to change the narrative and showcase the richness of Somali culture beyond the headlines of war and terrorism.
Drawing inspiration from those fond memories, I founded BlueHorn Tea. Each blend is a tribute to the warmth and hospitality of Somali tradition, crafted with care to capture the essence of my homeland. It's not just about tea; it's about fostering connections, honoring our heritage, and rewriting the story of Somalia one sip at a time.
So, I invite you to join us at our table, where every cup of BlueHorn Tea is a celebration of resilience, unity, and the vibrant spirit of Somalia. Together, let's embark on a journey of taste and tradition, sharing beautiful memories and spreading joy with every sip. Welcome to the BlueHorn family – let's rewrite the narrative and savor the sweetness of Somali culture together.
Shaah is a Somali term used to refer spiced tea traditionally made at home. In Somali hospitality, being offered a cup of Shaah as a guest in someone's home is a customary and warm gesture.
Through our community impact initiatives, we strive to empower individuals and families to rebuild their lives, overcome challenges, and create a brighter future for generations to come. Together, with your support, we can turn the tide of adversity into opportunities for growth, healing, and positive change. Join us in making a difference, one cup of tea at a time.
